Power Select Tryouts & Team Eval Camp

Northern Power Select:

We are excited about our third season for Power Select! This is our most advanced spring team option for our 6th-8th-grade boys! Our top coaches will coach our Power Select teams, have extra practice commitments, compete in an additional spring tournament, and receive a custom Power Gear package. Power Select tryouts will occur as a Spring Evaluation Camp on November 22nd, with a supplemental tryout on December 13th. Power Select is only offered at the middle school level, with occasional 5th graders playing up with an invitation.

Power Select Tryouts and Spring Evaluation Camp:

Power Select Tryouts and Team Eval Camp is designed to place players on the appropriate team/division based on skill, athleticism, lacrosse IQ, and attitude. Players who do not make Power Select will be placed on regular spring teams. We strongly believe that all players should earn their spots, and tryouts are a great way for them to do this. There will be a supplemental tryout on December 13th in addition to these tryouts. We highly recommend players attend both tryouts for the most thorough evaluation possible. Since there isn't a Power Select option for 1st-5th grade, we will evaluate each player to determine which the best team placement if there are two teams in their age group. Teams will be built based on this information, making attendance necessary for all Northern Power Lacrosse players at every age level, regardless of what team they were on in previous seasons.
