Committed. Resilient. Together.

***Registration Opens 12/1***

Beginner?
We have beginner teams in every age group!

Mission: Continue to bring new voltage to Northern Colorado. Growing the game is our passion, and building great people is our mission. Northern Power has been established to provide growth, prevalence, and community for players of all ages and experience levels in Fort Collins, Windsor, Loveland, and other surrounding areas.

The Northern Power blueprint contains three pillars: Committed, Resilient, and Together. We believe that these pillars and the specific behaviors associated with them dictate success in lacrosse and all aspects of life. We emphasize the blueprint regularly and reinforce it through numerous character workshops and leadership seminars throughout the year.

We pride ourselves on having the best coaches in the state! All coaches are trained in the NP Curriculum, and the majority of coaches have high-level playing and coaching experience. We choose to coach through inspiration and rewarding excellence rather than demanding obedience. We lean on the Power Blueprint of Committed, Resilient, and Together to guide our teams to be Better Players and Better People.

Our goal is to continue to grow the game throughout the winter months to have as many girls as possible so that we can have our teams compete at their age level with players their age. *** (The structure above is how we built the teams from last season.)

Team Practices: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday - 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. -- TBA

*We are still waiting for the city to confirm field space and availability. All locations will be centralized in the Northern Colorado area, allowing out-of-area players easy access to the highway.

AYL Game Schedule:
The league will release the finalized game schedule at the beginning of March. Please note that games are subject to change, so we advise checking every week and not putting all of your team's games in your calendar simultaneously. These changes happen often, so we suggest checking the website before every weekend to ensure you are at the right location and time.

  • Playoffs: 5/9 & 5/10
    • The playoffs will be on the weekend of 5/10. In past years, the 1st—5th grades played on Saturday, and the 6th—8th grades played on Sundays. The league has yet to release which ages will play on which day, so please anticipate that it can be either. The championships will be next weekend.
  • Championships: 5/16 & 5/17
    • Game times typically range from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Uniforms: All new players must purchase a uniform package; we will use the same uniforms as last season. Please complete the link below if you still need to do so. You can check if you ordered one on your previous invoice list on your League Apps account.

2026 Spring Age Groupings:

We use a grade-based system instead of birthdays for teams. Grade is indicated by the year a player will graduate from high school.

2037 (1st Grade) - 2030 (8th Grade)

* 9th graders are not eligible to participate in the spring season

*Players may be grouped 2037 through 2034 (1st-4th) depending on how the league aligns their divisions. They might also be 2033 through 2032 (5th-6th), and 2031 through 2030 (7th-8th).

*Please note that age groupings are subject to change based on the policies of the league we play in. Grouping players by grade has been a widely voted-on topic.

Refunds: Refunds for medical reasons will be honored in full, minus service fees up until the start of the season.

Refunds without a doctor's note (minus service fees):

  • Full refund until January 12th.
  • 50% refund January 13th-February 1st
  • No refunds after February 1st
