Power Surge Sixes returns to Future Legends Sports Dome in Windsor and is better than ever! Northern Power Lacrosse is pleased to provide Power Surge Sixes programming for boys of all experience levels! Sixes is designed to be a fun way to have fun, develop new skills, and play the game we love. Players will be grouped by age and experience and compete in the fast-paced game of six on six with one goalie per team.
- 00:30 second shot clock
- Games played in four 8-minute quarters
- Goalies initiate play after goals are scored; draws/face-offs occur only at the start of each quarter
- 70 x 36-meter field
- Emphasizes tempo, with fewer stoppages in play
- Everyone plays both sides of the field (defense/offense); substitutions are made on the fly
- Rosters comprised 12 players, leading to more playing time and more touches on the ball
- On the women’s side, defensive players are not penalized for entering the shooting lane of an offensive player; offensive players are penalized for taking a shot without regard for other players

Ages: Youth Boys 1st-8th Grade (There will be two to three fields to split teams by age and skill level.)
